2. Payment information

  APNIC's online registration form automatically selects the 
  appropriate fee for your attendance category.

2a. Credit card payments
________________________________________________________________________

  Registration fees will be deducted from your credit card account 
  in AUD when you complete the online payment via National 
  Australia Bank secure payments. An email will be sent to you 
  directly from National Australia Bank informing you of the status 
  of your payment. 

  Registration fees are debited to APNIC Pty Ltd.

  APNIC accepts:

     - Visa
     - MasterCard
     - Diners Club
     - American Express

  APNIC cannot accept:

     - EFTPOS
     - Other debit cards

  Credit card payments are secure: 

     - Payments are processed directly by National Australia Bank 
       using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology
     - Credit card numbers are protected with a high level of 
       encryption when transmitted over the Internet
     - APNIC does not have access to the customer's credit card 
       details 

  Confirmation:

     - If successful, National Australia Bank will confirm by 
       email that your payment was completed
     - If unsuccessful, National Australia Bank will advise you of 
       this. If this happens, please use one of the other payment 
       options to complete your registration.

2b. Wire transfer

  Please fax the details of the wire transfer to APNIC and include 
  your: 

     - Registration reference number
     - Name
     - Organization
     - Contact details (postal and e-mail address, telephone, and 
       fax numbers)

2c. Bank draft
________________________________________________________________________

     - Ensure that the bank draft is written in Australian dollars 
       payable to "APNIC Pty Ltd" and drawn from a bank in Australia
     - Include your registration reference number, name, organization 
       and contact details (postal and e-mail address, telephone and 
       fax numbers) with the bank draft
     - Please send the bank draft in Australian dollars to the 
       following address:

2d. Onsite payment
________________________________________________________________________

  Payment of your meeting registration fees at the meeting site 
  will be possible. By choosing this option, you are committing to 
  attend the APNIC Open Policy Meeting and agreeing to make payment 
  in full on registering for the meeting at the Grand Hyatt Beijing,
  Beijing, China. Payment must be made in cash with Australian Dollars 
  or Chinese Yuan.

3. Cancellation and refund policy
________________________________________________________________________

  To cancel registrations:

  Requests to cancel registrations must include:

     - The delegate's name
     - Organization
     - Contact details (postal and email address, telephone and 
       fax numbers)
     - Registration reference number

  Percentage of registration fees refunded:

  |                           |       attend in your place.    |

  Refunds will be processed within two working days; however, 'no 
  shows' - those who simply fail to attend - will be charged the 
  full amount.  

  We will confirm your refund by fax or e-mail.

4. Cancellation of meeting

  If, for any reason, this event is cancelled, APNIC will refund in 
  full all registration fees received.

5. APNIC liability
________________________________________________________________________


  APNIC will not be liable under any circumstances for registrants'
  loss of airfares, accommodation deposits, or other associated
  costs, loss of or damage to property, or any costs relating to
  personal injury.
  
  Similarly, if you are refused entry to the country for any 
  reason, such as passport, customs or health issues, APNIC will not 
  be liable for any resulting losses, financial or otherwise.
  
  Insurance against all loss is the responsibility of each 
  registrant.

7. Event audio/video recording and photography
________________________________________________________________________

  During the training sessions and conferences, photographs may be 
  taken by APNIC for use in their publications or other promotional 
  material. In addition, many sessions are subject to video and 
  audio recording for webcasting and archival purposes. By 
  attending the sessions, you agree to allow APNIC the unrestricted 
  right and permission to copyright and use, re-use, publish, and 
  republish video and/or audio recordings, photographs or pictures 
  of you or those in which you may be included.
