Three separate community elections will be held at APNIC 28.

NRO NC election

The term of Kenny Huang will expire on 31 December 2009. An election will be held at APNIC 28 to select one individual from the APNIC region to serve on the NRO Number Council (NRO NC) / Address Supporting Organization Address Council (ASO AC) for 2 years from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2011.

Policy SIG Co-chair election

The Policy SIG Co-chair is a voluntary position. The Co-chair is required to assist with chairing the Policy SIG session, work with the Chair and the other Co-chair to facilitate discussion and develop the agenda, and assist with the running of the Policy SIG mailing list.

This election will take place during the Policy SIG session at APNIC 28.

NIR SIG Chair and Co-chair elections

The NIR SIG Chair and Co-chair positions are voluntary. In addition to Chairing the SIG session, the Chair works with the Co-chair to develop the agenda for the NIR SIG session and to encourage and facilitate discussion both at the APNIC meeting and on the NIR SIG mailing list.

This election will take place during the NIR SIG session at APNIC 28.
