The Secure Registry Operations Course (SROC) Workshop introduces ccTLD technical and operations staff to the security aspects of operating a registry. Instructors Chris Evans and Mike Warren will inform students how to proactively secure their registries. Live attack scenarios will be run on the in-class network, giving students a hands-on chance to see the attacks, use monitoring and detection tools to analyze the attacks, and then implement protective measures.

Pre-Requisites:

Medium to good knowledge of the UNIX/Linux command line environment
Basic understanding of DNS (this course is not an introduction)
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and
Participants MUST bring their own laptop
